I am joking (slightly!) Tuukka can be relied upon to stay pretty close to my side when off-lead. Smuu however finds it impossible to resist the lure of the wildlife and frequently will have a little sojourn into the woods….. If you want a dog that will stay faithfully by your side, no matter the distractions, get yourself a Goldie. Some Lapphunds have a stronger hunting instinct than others (some have none!), however with diligent training from a very early age, you may be able to curb it
