Sadly, at just two days old, Tassa faded away.
Despite our best efforts, she lost the fight.
Never to see her grow up, and love and be loved, is heartbreaking beyond words.....

KALLIS

I'm the first born and I'm already making a pretty big impression around here.

I weighed 280g when I was born,  one week later, I weigh 620g! I'm beginning to establish ownership of the whelping box 'hey, that's my teat, shift your butt' - I'll soon have my siblings whipped into shape and hanging onto my every word.

Did I mention that I can sing? Oh yes, 'aint no puppy high enough, aint no puppy deep enough, aint no puppy wide enough, to keep me from foo-oo-ood' - tonight Matthew I'm going to be, Aretha Franklin!

Liz, my 'HuMum' called me Kallis because she thought it was Finnish for lovely. Wrong! It means expensive, just like me daaarrling

OSA

Hi, I'm a bit outnumbered around here, being the only handsome dude in the pack. A week ago I weighed 280g and today I've hit 610g! To be honest, there's not much else to think about other than eating and sleeping, sleeping and eating, so I figured I'd particularly concentrate on the eating part. Dad says that there is something else to think about, and he said it's even better than sleeping and eating (surely not?) but he won't tell me anymore until I'm older. Kallis thinks she wears the trousers, but take it from me, she's actually only got the one leg in them! My silly HuMum spent hours looking up Finnish names on the internet and she thought she was being all clever when she named me Osa, thinking it was Finnish for luck. Well, I have it on pretty good authority from a friend (who's Finnish, so probably knows what she's talking about) that Osa actually means 'bit' or 'part'. Hmmmm. Thanks Mum! Seeing as I am quite a BIT like my Dad, I guess it's pretty accurate after all! For Osa's page click HERE

KETTU

I was the smallest puppy of the bunch, well they say the best things come in small packages. I weighed 240g when I was born and today I weigh 560g, so I've done rather well.

I quite like eating and sleeping, but I think my bestest bit is rolling across the others whilst they are eating. It takes a superhuman roll to knock Kallis and Osa off, but I've managed it a couple of times (Sello is a piece of cake, ha!) Liz, my HuMum spends lots of time staring at me and mumbling about how much I change each day.

I'm trying to keep rather a low profile, as I haven't yet decided if I'm going to be a good puppy or a naughty puppy, hhmmmm, decisions decisions..... Oh, by the way, my name means 'fox' in Finnish - she got something right at last!

SELLO

I'm the surprise one of the family! An hour after Kettu was born, and everything was clean and tidy once more, I popped out! This time a week ago I weighed 280g, but today I weigh a rather collossal 600g. I'm the true birth blonde of the family and I also have the longest white socks and biggest white tip on my tail (and the largest white chest, but I try to rub it in with the other girls, you know how jealous girls can be). I try not to be a blonde stereotype (not that Liz knows of any of course) but it is really hard trying to choose which teat to feed from. Sometimes I spend so much time getting dizzy from deciding that I end up getting all frustrated and going 'whaaaaaaaaaaaa' - it works a teat, I mean treat! My name means Cello in Finnish, 'Cello' I ask you?
