It's been an exciting week here! My last three litters have consisted of one girl and seven boys, so imagine my delight when this week Ruska produced FIVE girls and two boys in her dual sired litter! I won't know which male sired which puppy until the DNA results come back, but I already have a hunch.... Mum and babes are doing really well and it's a novelty not only to see the whelping box full of puppies but to see a couple of creams as well, the first born at TabanyaRuu. Mind you, I rather suspect they are the first of many .... ;-)
My doves have also been busy and have produced some baby doves, so spring really is in the air! My next litter is planned from Peppi - watch this space.

In other news, today at Folkestone & Hythe Canine Society Open Show, T. Roope won Best Puppy in Breed under judge Shelley Cooper (Pavoskas) and my Salo won Best of Breed and went on to win Group 2. It was lovely to meet up with my wonderful TabanyaRuu owners - who cares about the results when there's tea & talking to be done ;-) Leks was at the show today along with Ninka who is growing into such a pretty girl - I don't think I have ever seen such an exquisite Lappy in my life. Hopefully some photos from today will follow.
