No surprises that it's all boys, but there was also the sadness of a beautiful stillborn girl, the first time I have experienced this - and a GIRL *sigh*.
Not an easy whelping but pups are fine and feeding well. Rell managed to get back from the National Funeral Exhibition just in time to accompany me to the vets for the delivery of the final three. She has been my assistant midwife for every litter since she was 10 (she's now 22) - so that was nice.
It's been a hectic weekend what with exhibiting and doing a sky dive for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice on Friday - I have to say I feel pretty tired and more than a little bit drained.
Rell's job is to name the puppies, so here is a picture of Fiia with Rupert Bear, Paddington Bear and Yogi Bear (brown). Run free at Rainbow Bridge Boo Boo Bear, you are dearly missed already :-(
